8th Annual Chemistry Magic Show at Carleton University

Carleton University is hosting their 8th annual Chemistry Magic Show on Saturday, February 28.  The one-hour chemistry magic show is filled with amazing glow in the dark substances, fantastic colour changes, spontaneous combustion reactions and much more. In addition, families can get their hands dirty at the Activity Centre while making real ice cream with liquid nitrogen, slime and miniature Olympic medals. They can also learn about pleasant and not so pleasant smells and the chemistry of wine and chocolate, as well as see some our demonstrations up close.

NEW THIS YEAR: New magic tricks that we’ve never done in public, hands-on activities with fluorescent minerals, sand that doesn’t get wet, and more! We have also relocated the magic show to a larger room that’s also closer to the Activity Centre.

The Magic Show
